Urokojin
The Thunder Judge - Herald Of The Sky Tribunal
Created by Ola Oriola (@Vtgshadowscribe) · Realm: The Vantaverse
Origin story
Before the Vantaverse had names, there was only the First Chaos, the violent breath from which Orisun shaped existence. When that chaos collided with the first laws of reality, something remained behind. Urokojin was not created to judge. Judgment became part of him. For ages, he wandered beyond mortal sight, watching civilizations rise and vanish beneath the same laws that governed stars. He once silenced an entire primordial storm that threatened to tear open the Archive, binding it into seven eternal thunderheads. Another time, when the first kings attempted to erase a forgotten civilization from history, Urokojin opened the Aeon Archive and returned its name to the heavens. He does not rule mortals. He does not choose their wars. He simply remembers. And in 2092.... What happened?
Abilities
- Core ability: Stormscript — Urokojin writes commands into the air using primordial storm-script. The words temporarily alter how a place behaves, silencing magic, exposing illusions, or forcing hidden things into visibility.
- Also: Judgment Bolt — A concentrated strike of celestial lightning that doesn't destroy its target. Instead, it reveals the target's true nature and intentions to everyone nearby.
- Also: Echo of Truth — His voice strips away deception. Lies become audible distortions, disguises flicker, and concealed memories may briefly surface.
- Also: Sevenfold Tribunal — Once invoked, seven storm sigils appear above the battlefield. Each represents an ancient law. Urokojin may invoke one to restrain, expose, or interrupt an action, but he cannot decide the outcome of the conflict.
- Also: Archive Step — Urokojin can briefly step into the Aeon Archive and emerge somewhere else connected to its records. He cannot use it to freely appear anywhere, the destination must have a recorded connection.
- Signature move: THE FINAL VERDICT — Urokojin taps into a thin thread of Orisun's primordial power and catches a glimpse of the target's possible future. From what he sees, he delivers a Verdict, a temporary supernatural judgment that influences the target's path.
- Weakness: The First Law — Urokojin's power depends heavily on law, truth, and recorded reality. Chaotic phenomena, altered memories, contradictory timelines, and beings whose actions cannot be reasonably predicted make his abilities less reliable. He also cannot simply overpower every opponent. The more primordial power he draws upon, the greater the backlash.
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral — He protects the integrity of reality rather than siding with heroes, villains, rulers, or rebels. A mortal who breaks a law for a just reason may receive more understanding from him than a ruler who obeys every law for selfish purposes.
