Origin story
Atlas Veyron was once a humble wanderer who discovered an ancient celestial stone beneath a ruined temple. When he touched it, the heavens trembled and an ancient power entered his body. According to legend, Atlas was chosen to carry the weight of a dying world until someone worthy could inherit the burden. Rather than seeking glory, he accepted his fate and became known as The Worldbearer. He rarely moves, speaks, or draws his weapon. Yet kingdoms have fallen simply because their armies could not force him from his position. Atlas now wanders the world searching for the person capable of carrying the burden after him.
Abilities
- Core ability: Worldbearer’s Stillness — Atlas can support unimaginable weight without moving. The greater the burden he carries, the stronger and more immovable his body becomes.
- Also: Mountain Root — By planting his feet into the earth, Atlas becomes virtually impossible to push, knock down, or move—even by supernatural forces.
- Also: Heaven’s Burden — Atlas can temporarily transfer the weight he carries into a single strike, creating devastating physical force capable of shattering enormous obstacles.
- Also: Gravity Dominion — He can manipulate gravitational pressure around himself, making enemies unbearably heavy while allowing himself to remain completely steady.
- Also: Titan’s Awakening — When Atlas finally chooses to move after remaining still for an extended period, all the accumulated power of his burden is released, granting him tremendous speed and strength for a short time
- Signature move: — Atlas finally takes one step forward after standing completely still. In that instant, the immense force he has been carrying is released through his body and into the ground. The earth buckles beneath him, a crushing gravitational wave spreads outward, and everything caught within its reach is forced to the ground.
- Weakness: The Burden’s Toll — Atlas's power is directly connected to what he carries. If he abandons his burden or moves recklessly, the energy sustaining him begins to collapse. Overusing Titan’s Awakening can leave him physically weakened and temporarily unable to use his gravitational abilities.
- Alignment: Lawful Good — Atlas follows an ancient code centered on responsibility, sacrifice, and protecting those who cannot protect themselves. He respects order but will defy rulers or laws when they endanger innocent people.
