Origin story
Karl Eisenburg never set out to become a superhero. A man of strong faith and an unwavering belief in justice, Karl was an ordinary citizen of Rockton until he became the bearer of an extraordinary invention: a gravity harness capable of granting him flight and generating a defensive shield powerful enough to deflect bullets. But power doesn’t automatically make a hero. Taking on the role of a city bouncer, and dubbed by the media as SLEDGE, Karl finds himself confronting the criminal underworld and a justice system that doesn’t always deliver justice when it’s needed. From corrupt power brokers to dangerous criminals, his battles force him to confront a difficult question: what does it really mean to stand up for what’s right when the system itself can fail?
